The International Game Developers Association (IGDA) is updating the Education Curriculum Framework, originally published in 2008. This initiative aims to refresh and refine the guidelines for game development education, ensuring they align with today's industry needs.
In support of this initiative, we have created this website to provide information about the project, share updates, and gather feedback from the community. Our efforts have also resulted in additional projects we are sharing: Access to the research materials we have collected and a curriculum building tool, which is still under development,.
If you're passionate about game education, we invite you to join us as a volunteer or stay informed about the latest updates. We are currently seeking specialists to help develop course and topic recommendations per specialty area after the comment period ends.
Help shape the future of game development education. We're seeking passionate educators, industry professionals, and specialists to contribute their expertise.
